I love dogs. I have two chihuahuas. I live in the desert, have no lawn, have no use for herbicides, although the occasional insecticide is needed. We have some hideous insects here. Fertilizer is good in moderation to keep the garden looking nice. There is a wonderful smell here when it is damp or has rained. I think it is the creosote bushes releasing their aroma in response to the dampness.
And cars... a necessary evil.

I once attended a birthday party with my lover. Her friends daughter was six years old. The kids were giggling and rolling down the slope of the back yard. Grass so thick and lush in the suburbs. One girl looked down at her bare legs in horror as she watched the bright pink welts blossom on her skin and turn red. "mommy what's happening to me?" she cried.

herbicides blah
give me dandylions any day of the week

I once went camping with my uncle. He took me way out into the woods, a far hike from the road... I had no idea where we were. We set up a tent and made a fire. We went swimming in the river, which was cold, afterwards he held me under the blanket with him by the fire. We were both naked, and he was very hairy from head to toe. It tickled and felt nice against my skin. And I guess my skin felt nice too, he touched me all over. Harder and harder... and he made me touch him too. I didn't mind. I liked it I guess. The part I didn't like, was when he tied my legs up to the top of the tent and raped me. It hurt a lot. No one in my family believed me, and to this day he does not admit that it ever happened. I don't hate him.
