As far as the eye can see...
(apparently the hoods are to erase their identities before God...)
i don't think i've ever seen someone wearing a Mustard Yellow suit with a Pink tie
.. there were many.
each procession has two floats
the first is always something about J. and his buds on the last day
(these things weigh about 3 tons and are carried by men hidden by a skirt)
the muscle men who carry the 3 ton floats
wear strange head-pads...
and "suffering Jesus" shirts
but not everyone has erased their identity...
some wear fancy hats.
Mary is crying over her dead son
a bit of rest in a Calle Fresca..
where i found some graffiti that was very reminiscent of what i used to draw:
then i got caught in a throng of Black Wizards...
when i caught back up (rather, got caught up with) the White ones again
i had a chance to get a clear picture of the barefoots:
These Pictures are all in a "gay" cafe/bar that's been around since 1928...
the old city walls...
.. on the walk back to the train station..
felt this was a clear expression of my self...
And the cake i got to eat while waiting for my train to depart...
